Bruins and Ducks are out of the WCWS. UCLA had a clear path to finals unless they lost two in a row today, which they did to Florida State. Alumni blame coach not preparing for two games. But I think it's their lack of depth at pitcher, which bothered me from the start. I don't know how they could have prepared, unless saving their ace for the second game, giving game one away. Ducks only played one game, the one they won, like the Ducks we saw all season.
The good news is Washington, which plays FSU in the finals. They beat the best offensive team in the nation, Oklahoma, twice, and both were shutouts. Amazing.
